ومن المقرر أن يلعب الزمالك ضد فاركو بعد غدٍ الجمعة في الجولة الحادية والثلاثين من الدوري.

ويلاقي الزمالك نظيره المصري البورسعيدي يوم الجمعة الموافق 26 أغسطس 2022 في تمام التاسعة مساءً بتوقيت القاهرة، وذلك في إطار منافسات الجولة قبل الأخيرة.

وقررت رابطة الأندية تأجيل الإعلان عن مواعيد مباريات الجولة الأخيرة من الدوري تحقيقًا لمبدأ تكافؤ الفرص.

That’s according to John Percy’s recent report for The Telegraph, with the journalist revealing that Bruno Lage and Jeff Shi are planning to revive their summer interest in the LOSC Lille midfielder this winter.

Percy goes on to claim that Wolves are keeping a very close eye on the situation of the 24-year-old ahead of a potential January swoop, with Lage keen to bring in reinforcements to bolster his options in the middle of the park for the second half of the campaign.

He’d solve Wolves’ biggest issue

Following the departure of Morgan Gibbs-White on a season-long loan deal this summer, it was clear for all to see that Wolves were desperately lacking in a more attacking option in central midfield, with none of Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho or Leander Dendoncker being particularly forward-thinking on the pitch.

Rather predictably, this has caused Lage something of a problem so far this season, as the 45-year-old manager has been heavily reliant on his forwards for both creativity and goals – with only 16% of Wolves’ six Premier League assists coming from midfield, while just 9% of the club’s 11 league goals have come from the middle of the park.

As such, it would certainly appear advisable for Shi to bring in a more attack-minded central midfielder this winter, with Renato Sanches looking to be a very attractive option.

While the Portugal international has suffered from a series of niggling injuries since his £18m move to Lille back in the summer of 2019, the 24-year-old’s returns in Ligue 1 would nevertheless suggest he could well be the creative spark Wolves are crying out for.

Indeed, over his 19 Ligue 1 appearances in 2019/20, the £27m-rated man scored three goals, registered one assist and created five big chances for his teammates, with these returns seeing the midfielder earn a seasonal SofaScore match rating of 7.06.

Over his 23 appearances in the following campaign, Sanches once again impressed, scoring one goal, providing three assists and once more creating five big chances for his teammates, metrics that saw the former Bayern Munich man earn a seasonal SofaScore match rating of 6.90.

And, despite having failed to find the back of the net or register an assist over his five Ligue 1 appearances this season, the £51k-per-week man has made an average of 1.5 key passes per game – a statistic that would rank him top of the Wolves’ midfielder charts.

As such, it would seem a very wise move indeed for Shi to once again pursue a deal for the man who Mats Hummels dubbed an “irresistible” talent this winter, as Sanches could well be the answer to Lage’s midfield.

Dorival Júnior traçou um objetivo para o São Paulo depois de duas semanas sem jogos, apenas treinando no CT da Barra Funda: ser um time mais “vivo” dentro de campo. É na intensidade dos trabalhos que tem comandado que o técnico se apega para tirar a equipe da zona de rebaixamento do Campeonato Brasileiro.

– O São Paulo tem totais condições de sair desse momento que vive. Temos de ser um pouco mais intensos, buscarmos com um pouco mais de vivacidade cada lance, cada jogada, cada movimento. Isso será fundamental para que alcancemos a nossa recuperação – indicou o treinador.

A mudança de postura em campo é uma das chaves para o Tricolor melhorar de vez a péssima campanha no torneio – já passou dez rodadas na zona de rebaixamento e está na penúltima colocação, com 23 pontos somados em 22 jogos. O foco dos trabalhos nessa parada do torneio está na alteração de comportamento, despertando um espírito mais aguerrido nos jogadores.

Dorival deu dois dias de folga após a derrota por 4 a 2, de virada, para o Palmeiras, e ainda deu o último domingo de descanso para os atletas. No total, serão nove dias de treinos até enfrentar a Ponte Preta, no sábado, e os trabalhos da semana passada já animaram o técnico.

A primeira semana sem jogos foi de trabalhos táticos e exercícios em campo reduzido. Sem a bola, Dorival chegou a espalhar estacas no gramado e estimular os jogadores a avançarem e recuarem em suas linhas de forma mais sincronizada. Com um time cheio de reservas, venceu jogo-treino contra oBlack Gold Oil FC, dos Estados Unidos, no CT da Barra Funda, por 6 a 1, no sábado.

Na escalação que enfrenta a Ponte Preta, Arboleda é desfalque certo, por suspensão, e Cueva também deve sair, por opção do técnico, publicamente incomodado com a má fase do peruano. A princípio, Aderllan e Lucas Fernandes devem ganhar as posições. Mas a maior alteração desejada por Dorival é mesmo no comportamento dentro de campo.

Once James Forrest decides to part company with Celtic and leave the luscious green grass of Parkhead behind, it will be a sad day for everyone associated with the Hoops.

The flying winger has been a fabulous signing for the Bhoys since arriving as a boy all the way back in 2002.

There have been a number of success stories emerging out of Lennoxtown over the last few decades with the likes of Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor and Aiden McGeady all climbing through the ranks.

However, only club captain, McGregor, can boast the same loyalty as Forrest.

Since breaking into the first team in Glasgow, the 30-year-old has pulled on the famous green and white on 422 occasions. Over those matches, he has beaten the goalkeeper 95 times and supplied 96 assists.

Sadly, despite the flanker now in what should be his peak years, his career is dwindling and petering out as fresher blood comes through.

Livewire Kyogo Furuhashi, the rampant Liel Abada and the dazzling Jota have all surpassed him this term as the Scot struggles with injury again.

Forrest has gone from being the club’s go-to player on the biggest of occasions to a position of relegation on the treatment table or substitutes bench.

He has played just 17 times in the Premiership over the last 18 months but he now needs to be wary of those lower than him in the pecking order, not just those in and around him.

It is only a matter of time before Karamoko Dembele makes his true breakthrough at senior level but another youngster is now pushing him close.

That happens to be Rocco Vata, a tricky and frantic 16-year-old who is capable of dominating defences.

The teenager has benefited from Celtic Bs inclusion in the Lowland League this term, as he’s put in some truly eye-catching performances. The type of displays we’re seeing on a regular basis are enough to remind you of Forrest.

Famed for his ability to beat players and fashion chances for teammates, those are two traits the Vata has in his own armoury.

Speaking about the attacker’s talents recently, coach Darren O’Dea could only praise him.

“The most impressive thing about him is his mentality and attitude to the game. There was a pre-season friendly this year and it didn’t go particularly well. But he’s someone who has a killer attitude. He never stops,” O’Dea began.

“He’s got a fantastic ability to beat people and to create chances. But on top of that, he’s got a really strong, strong mind. He’s very, very young and needs to be managed well but he’s going in the right direction.”

Those traits that the Celtic guru describes are very much in tune with Forrest, somebody who has honed his skills over multiple years at a top level, scoring and assisting with great regularity.

“I’m confident to say if he reaches his full potential, which is our goal as a staff to help him do that, that potential could take him to the top,” O’Dea concluded.

With that in mind, it must be hugely exciting for Celtic supporters to see him making such impressive strides. It is timely too, with injury struggles for Mikey Johnston, Forrest and Dembele this season.

It must only be a matter of time before Ange Postecoglou decides to take a closer look and hand Vata his initial taste of first-team life. Should he give him a chance to thrive, then the Australian tactician may well unlock the club’s next Forrest.

Foi por conta de um medicamento ingerido para tratar deste problema (e que pode ser flagrado no exame antidoping) que Marciel ficou cinco meses fora de ação. Mas agora ele está de volta. E mais bonito, como diz.

-Ainda falta muito para controlar (a doença), vai demorar bastante para crescer o cabelo de vez. Então eu coloquei uma prótese para esconder os buracos, porque estava muito feio. Os torcedores não conseguiam ver os buracos, porque eu passava tinta para esconder, mas para evitar isso decidi botar a prótese, fica melhor assim. É estranho, mas as pessoas vão se acostumar, estou me sentindo melhor – conta o jogador do Timão, que tem posado até de franja nos últimos dias.

Marciel tem apenas 18 partidas como profissional do Corinthians e fará sua estreia em competições oficiais fora do país justamente nesta quarta-feira, diante de cerca de 40 mil pessoas, na Argentina, e ainda numa partida decisiva da Copa Sul-Americana contra um rival de tradição. Nada disso o assusta. A ponto de ele revelar uma meta para a partida contra o Racing: a assistência para o gol da classificação às quartas de final. Para quem não tinha cabelo até pouco tempo, mas hoje capricha no penteado e ainda voltou em alto nível após cinco meses sem jogar, isso não parece um grande desafio.

-Como o jogo é fora de casa temos que nos preocupar com a defesa para não tomar gols, mas no contra-ataque é fazer o que eu sei, ir para dentro dos caras em todas as jogadas. E se Deus quiser pelo menos dar um passe para um gol, acertar um cruzamentinho de gol. Quem sabe?
