نفى أمير مرتضى المشرف العام على الكرة بنادي الزمالك الأنباء التي ترددت بشأن وجود مفاوضات مع السوداني أطهر الطاهر الظهير الأيمن السابق لفريق سموحة لضمه خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المقبلة.

ويستعد الزمالك لمواجهة نظيره الداخلية يوم الإثنين المقبل على استاد القاهرة الدولي، ضمن مواجهات دور الـ32 من بطولة كأس مصر.

وأوضح أمير أن الزمالك لم يتحدث مع أطهر الطاهر بشأن الانتقال للفريق ولم يدخل في أي مفاوضات مع اللاعب.

واختتم أن تواجد الظهير السوداني في النادي جاء كضيف، موضحًا أن الزمالك يرحب بكل ضيوفه في أي وقت، ولم يلتق اللاعب مع أي مسئول بإدارة الكرة أو مجلس الإدارة.

Former All Leeds TV and now JustJoe Football Show presenter Joe Wainman has blasted Conor Gallagher after the midfielder opted to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan instead of heading to Leeds United.

Gallagher was in-demand after impressing during a temporary stint at West Bromwich Albion, where he made 32 appearances last term.

Although the 21-year-old was unable to stop the Baggies suffering relegation back to the Championship, Gallagher still caught the eye of several clubs and was immediately linked with another move away from parent club Chelsea.

After an encouraging first season back in the Premier League following a 16-year wait, Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds were keen to bolster their options by tempting Gallagher to Elland Road.

However, the Yorkshire club were left disappointed as Gallagher chose to join Crystal Palace instead.

Gallagher’s move to Selhurst Park comes after a summer of change at the club, with Patrick Vieira replacing Roy Hodgson as manager and several players departing.

Wainman has accused Gallagher of lacking ambition following his summer switch.

He told Football FanCast: “Missing out on Conor Gallagher was a little bit sore because I did see him as being a great Bielsa player in terms of what he can offer on the pitch.

“By all accounts, Leeds waited a month for him to come back and that was frustrating because I know how good Victor Orta is when he presents to prospective players.

“It stinks of a lack of ambition from Conor Gallagher.”

Sandeep Jyoti and Abdool Samad then put on 39 for the fifth wicket, the best partnership of the match for Canada.Once Samad was stumped off Lyons for 18, the home side veered off track, losing wickets regularly. Newcastle United journalist Liam Kennedy believes that the club are happy with Joelinton after his adaptation to life in England.

The striker has struggled at times during his time with the Magpies and has not exactly been a prolific presence up front.

The Brazilian made 31 appearances in the Premier League last season and scored just four goals, while providing two assists.

It remains to be seen how many minutes the 24-year-old will have this term, after Callum Wilson was signed from Bournemouth last summer.

But Kennedy believes that the club are confident he has the ability to provide proper back-up to Wilson this season, after showing signs of improvement in the back-end of the season.

He said: “Joelinton is a player who is starting to get used to the physical aspect of the English game. And I think from March onwards last year, we actually started to see a player where you’d say ‘he can add value to the team’, so I think they’re okay with having him as a stand-in.”

Joelinton has scored a total of 10 goals in 80 games for the club, and has never hit double figures in a single campaign, while also laying on seven assists.

Steve Bruce’s side begin their season against West Ham United this weekend.

أكد الهاني سليمان حارس مرمى سموحة، أنه حزين بسبب عدم انضمامه لمنتخب مصر، موجهًا رسالة لـ مصطفى شوبير حارس الأهلي.

وقال الهاني سليمان في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر فضائية “المحور”: “أنا أكتر حارس تطور في الدوري، وكنت انتظر الانضمام لمنتخب مصر، وحزين لعدم انضمامي ولكني أحترم وجهة نظر  الجهاز الفني”

وأضاف: “سأظل مستمرا في تألقي وسأظهر بشكل مميز، حتى أحصل على فرصة مع المنتخب”.

وتطرق للحديث عن مصطفى شوبير حارس مرمى الأهلي قائلا: “شوبير حارس كبير هذا الذي أعرفه، ولكن هذا الوقت ليس وقت تصريحات، وفي بداية مشوار أي حارس، يجب أن يبتعد عن أي تصريحات تثير الجدل وتضعه تحت الضغوط”.
