تحدث أسطورة منتخب الجزائر ونادي بورتو السابق، رابح ماجر، عن مباراة منتخب مصر والسنغال في نهائي بطولة كأس أمم إفريقيا 2021 والتي ستقام يوم غد الأحد.

وتلتقي مصر والسنغال في تمام الساعة التاسعة مساءً بتوقيت “القاهرة” على ملعب “أوليمبي” في العاصمة الكاميرونية “ياوندي” بقيادة الحكم الجنوب إفريقي الدولي، فيكتور جوميز.

وكانت الجزائر هي بطل نسخة 2019 والتي أقيمت في مصر بعد فوزها على السنغال في المباراة النهائية، ولكن محاربي الصحراء خرجوا في مفاجأة كانت كبيرة من دور المجموعات بعد تذيلهم المجموعة الخامسة برصيد نقطة واحدة.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع ماجر من أجل الحديث عن النهائي المنتظر، وقال: “قبل كل شيء أريد أن أهنئ الشعب المصري بالتواجد في المباراة النهائية”.

وتابع: “لقد قدم منتخب مصر مباراة كبيرة أمام الكاميرون، رغم وصول اللقاء إلى الوقت الإضافي وفي الأخير تأهل بجدارة إلى نهائي كأس أمم إفريقيا”.

وعن مباراة السنغال قال: “بكل صراحة، مواجهة صعبة للغاية وتشبه مباراة الكاميرون لأن السنغال تمتلك لاعبين مميزين وروحا قتالية في الملعب”.

وأضاف: “لقاء سيكون صعبا لكلا المنتخبين، كل فريق عنده طموح، منتخب مصر يقدم كل شيء من أجل الفوز بالبطولة بعد الفشل في التتويج بها على أرضه في عام 2019 والسنغال كذلك لأنهم لم يتوجوا في تاريخهم بهذا اللقب”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “التكهن بالمباراة سيكون صعبا جدًا، ولكنها ستكون مواجهة كبيرة بين مصر والسنغال ونتمنى مشاهدة مباراة تتحلى بالروح الرياضية وبالتوفيق لمنتخب مصر لأنهم قدموا كل شيء في المباريات الماضية”.

وأتم: “أتمنى أن يشرف منتخب مصر الوطن العربي بأكمله من خلال الفوز والتتويج بكأس أمم إفريقيا”.

In an exclusive interview with Football FanCast, Steve Bull, who scored 306 goals for Wolves, has backed Nelson Semedo to come good at Molineux and believes next season could be his breakout campaign.

Semedo arrived for £37 million from Barcelona last summer to replace Matt Doherty who departed for Tottenham Hotspur for £14.7 million, but the void he left has still not been filled.

The £77,000-per-week defender has found it difficult to emulate Doherty this season having managed just one assist in the Premier League, with Wolves struggling throughout the final third without Raul Jimenez.

Speaking on Semedo’s potential and if when he thinks the full-back will come good for Wolves, Bull told FFC:

“I think he is Premier League quality because he’s a very good and talented player, but as you say when you put him in a back four he does struggle a bit.

“I think with a back three he’s got the freedom to go as far forward as he wants because the defence will cover him, so if you put him at wing-back now with Traore in front of him they’ll be like flying pigs causing mayhem.

“I do think he is one to keep an eye on because I think he’ll do a good job for us next year.”

Nuno Espirito Santo opted to go for a back four against West Ham on Monday night which saw Wolves look vulnerable to the Hammers’ counter attacks.

With Wolves all but safe, it could be time for Nuno to experiment with new systems, tactics and players in preparation for next season.

حذر جورجينيو زملائه في تشيلسي من أن بالميراس سيكون في حاجة ماسة للفوز، عندما يلتقيان في نهائي بطولة كأس العالم للأندية يوم السبت.

حقق تشيلسي، الذي تأهل لنهائي أبوظبي بفوزه بدوري أبطال أوروبا الموسم الماضي، فوزًا صعبًا 1-0 على الهلال بطل آسيا مساء الأربعاء، ليحجز مكانه في النهائي.

أما بالميراس، النادي البرازيلي الذي فاز بكأس ليبرتادوريس العام الماضي، فقد فاز بنتيجة 2-0 في مواجهة نصف النهائي مع ملوك إفريقيا الأهلي يوم الثلاثاء.

وشدد جورجينيو: “نحن بحاجة إلى أن نتواضع لأنك إذا قللت من شأن خصومك قد تكون في ورطة، يجب أن تكون مستعدًا وتتدرب جيدًا وتنام جيدًا، وتتناول الطعام جيدًا، وتفعل كل شيء بشكل احترافي قدر الإمكان للوصول إلى المباراة وتكون قادرًا على الفوز”.

Newcastle United are set to receive £4.8m from the Premier League, Chronicle Live has reported.

It comes after Norwich City and Watford secured an immediate promotion from the Championship back to the top flight. As a result, the Premier League will not have to provide the two clubs with parachute payments totalling £83m.

Relegated clubs are entitled to a slice of Premier League broadcasting cash for two years if they go down in their first season or three years if they survive for longer, but that goes out the window when they return to the top flight.

The money which would have gone to Norwich and Watford can now be distributed among the current top-flight clubs.

Chronicle Live also pointed out that the windfall will increase if Bournemouth join them in coming straight back up. The Cherries are fourth in the table, already assured of a play-off place.

Transfer Tavern verdict

It’s a welcome boost to Newcastle’s transfer budget as they look to build a squad strong enough to avoid any relegation trouble next season.

One possible target is Young Boys striker Jean-Pierre Nsame, valued at £6.3m by Transfermarkt. Theoretically, this latest windfall could cover around 75% of the potential fee for the Cameroon forward, who last year was described as being ‘in another galaxy’ after a run of 41 goals in 46 matches.

The news could also improve Newcastle’s chances of landing Joe Willock permanently. It has been reported that the Arsenal loanee would cost as much as £20m if the Magpies are to upgrade his loan move.

Derby County forward Martyn Waghorn endured a disappointing afternoon on Saturday as Wayne Rooney’s side slipped up in their bid to secure Championship safety.

Knowing that a win against Swansea City would have all but ensured the Rams’ place in the second tier ahead of next season, despite taking the lead at the Liberty Stadium, two second-half Swansea goals ultimately saw Derby slump to their sixth consecutive league defeat, with the 2-1 loss leaving Rooney’s side in very real jeopardy of dropping down to League One on the final day of the season.

With both Rotherham United and Sheffield Wednesday picking up draws in their respective fixtures against Blackburn Rovers and Nottingham Forest, as well as Wycombe Wanderers securing a shock win against Bournemouth, Derby now find themselves just three points above all the trio of Wednesday, Rotherham and Wycombe in the relegation places – with the Rams’ final game of the season essentially becoming a relegation play-off against the Owls at Pride Park.

In the fixture against Swansea itself, Martyn Waghorn was easily one of Rooney’s worst performers, with the 31-year-old earning a SofaScore match rating of just 6.2, ranking him as the club’s second-worst player on the day.

This disappointing rating is likely to do with just how ineffectual the former Rangers striker was, with Waghorn managing no attempts at Freddie Woodman’s goal, completing just seven of his 13 passes, failing with all three of his attempted dribbles and losing possession of the ball 14 times over his 80 minutes on the pitch.

As such, it would very much appear as if Waghorn badly failed Rooney on Saturday, and, if the 35-year-old manager opts to start him again in the crucial clash with Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, it is essential that the striker ups his game – or else Derby could well be playing their football in the third tier next season.
