According to Gianluca di Marzio, Manchester United have made contact with Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj ahead of a potential move for the 25-year-old this summer.

What’s the word?

The report simply claims the Red Devils have registered their interest in the Albanian but that the club could face competition from Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid side.

Reports in recent weeks have seemed to suggest United’s main target for the right-back role will be Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka with Sky Sports claiming that the Manchester side had a £50m bid rejected.

Having seemingly found a deal for the Englishman difficult to get over the line, the links with Hysaj are understandable and upon a deeper look at the situation, United’s failure to capture Wan-Bissaka might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

A more suited fit for United

Valued at £20.7m by Transfermarkt, Hysaj is an archetypal modern full-back with a lung-busting engine and desire to get forward as often as possible. Games in Italy have always been thought of as being much slower and more tactical, but top-flight football in the UK is considered much more end-to-end.

Blessed with real pace and understanding of how to time his runs, the 25-year-old would relish playing at the quick intensity Ole Gunnar Solskjaer desires. Indeed, his former Albania coach Gianni De Biasi noted that Hysaj was “very intelligent, very balanced”; a combination of skills that should ease United’s concerns on potentially missing out on the defensively strong Wan-Bissaka.

The one area where Hysaj really outstrips his English counterpart is on the ball. Indeed, against France on Tuesday night, Wan-Bissaka was guilty of some sloppy passes throughout the game. Napoli’s defender on the other hand, is extremely at ease on the ball. Di Biasi added that the right-back had “great technical ability” and that’s most clearly shown by his impressive 85.6% passing accuracy and 56.4 passes per game; significantly more than Wan-Bissaka’s 73.4% accuracy and 33.7 passes respectively.

So whilst going for a young homegrown talent is understandable, Hysaj has proven during his time in Italy that he is more than capable of playing for a side intent on playing attacking football.

وقال وزير الرياضة خلال تصريحات خاصة لـ بطولات: “اللجنة المكلفة بإدارة الزمالك تم اختيارها وفقاً لترشيحات من الاعضاء المتواجدين في النادي واللجان المتختصة”.

وأضاف: “لم أترك نادي الزمالك في أزمته الحالية، وليس لي علاقة بالأموال المتواجدة في خزينة النادي، اللجان هي المسؤولة”.

وأشار إلى أنه لا بد أن يأخذ الوسط الرياضي شكلا آخر في الفترة المقبلة، وتابع: “وزير الرياضة لم يعين أحد في لجنة الكرة بالزمالك هذا ليس اختصاصي، اختصاصي فقط الجهة الإدارية”.

وواصل: “نتابع سير كل شيء في الزمالك، كل ما هو تم اتخاذه قانوني ولو هناك أي شىء نحن جاهزين، ودورنا أن نقوم بالضبط العام للساحة الرياضية”.

وأردف: “الأحداث الرياضية مهمة، تنظيم كأس العالم لكرة اليد مهم لـ منظومة الكرة والاتحاد المصري، ومنتظرون موقف الاتحاد الدولي مع اللجنة الخماسية والقرارات التي ستتم، هذا دورنا الحكومي الذي نقوم به”.

وتابع: “قوانين الرياضة والنظم المتواجدة تعطي لكل هيئة بجمعياتها العمومية بعض الاستقلالية”.

وأستطرد: “لا بد أن تكون قراراتنا عادلة وتوقيتها مناسب، أي شخص سيخرج عن النص ويضغط (يمين أو شمال) هنستخدم القانون ضده”.

وأكمل: “المجلس الأعلى للتنظيم والإعلام ووزارة الشباب والرياضة تعمل على المدي الطويل للتوعية ومبادرة لا للتعصب مستمرة، ولوائح الثواب والعقاب، نستخدم القانون وهذا ليس تهديد أو وعيد”.

وتابع: “ساطبق القانون طالما أنا متواجد كوزير ومسؤول في الدولة، سواء يوم أو شهر أو سنة هذا شرف أنني موجود في الحكومة المصرية والقيادة السياسة تعمل كل شىء للدولة وتنمي قدرات الشباب أيضا لتطوير الرياضة ونؤدي بكل أمانة بشكل كبير جدًا”.

وأتم: “المنظومة الرياضة ايًا كان الوضع تحتاج إلى أشياء كثيرة نظرا لتراكم سنوات ماضية، هذا لن ينتهي في فترة زمنية معينة ولكن يجب أن يكون هناك قواعد وصبر وأنا أمتلك الاثنين”.

According to Soccer Link, Manchester United are considering a swoop for Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Presnel Kimpembe in this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old came through the youth system at PSG and has made 112 appearances for the French giants in all competitions.

Soccer Link have named United, Chelsea and Arsenal as potential suitors for the Frenchman ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.

However, it would be fair to say that the majority of United fans do not believe that their club will be signing Kimpembe this summer, almost branding the transfer report fake news.

It is generally accepted that the Red Devils will be moving for a new centre-back due to their defensive troubles last season.

However, it remains to be seen whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side can get a deal over the line before the end of the transfer window.

وعلق بويل على صفقة، مصطفى محمد، والتوتر الذي حدث مع الزمالك، وقال في مؤتمره الصحفي منذ قليل والذي نقلته شبكة “But Football” الفرنسية: “العلاقة مع الزمالك تتحسن”.

ودافع بويل عن تصريحات رومير عبر قناة “النهار” يوم، الخميس الماضي، وقال: “كان يقصد من خلالها بالفعل بعض المنتفعين من الصفقة من الوكلاء”.

وأتم تصريحاته: “لقد تم تفسير تصريحاته بشكل خاطئ، وكان هناك سوء تفاهم بين الناديين، لكن العلاقات تتحسن وتعود إلى طبيعتها بالتدريج، هذا كل ما أريد قوله في هذا الأمر”.

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a potential summer swoop for Max Aarons, per Football.London.

The Norwich City right-back has been identified as a potential replacement to Kieran Trippier, who could leave the club in this transfer window.

After a disappointing season from the England international, epitomised by his howler of an own goal against Chelsea, he has been linked with a move to Serie A – both Juventus and Napoli have been credited with an interest.

And the Football.London report claims that an enquiry will be made for Aarons if Trippier does depart.

The 19-year-old played a key role in Norwich’s promotion to the Premier League in 2018/19, making 43 appearances in all competitions and scoring three goals while registering six assists.

An exceptionally talented teenager, it remains to be seen if Spurs would be able to lure him away from the Canaries, as they prepare for another tilt at the top-flight in 2019/20.

But could Aarons replace Trippier if he does move to north London?

“I’m not sure whether Aarons is quite ready to make the step up to a team as good as Tottenham. It’s clear Spurs need another right-back after Trippier’s quite frankly dismal performance season in 2018/19 but for the time being, Aarons would be nothing more than a squad player. Playing 41 times in the league last season means he now has plenty of experience under his belt whilst the six assists he notched certainly shows he possesses similar attacking traits to Trippier. However, acting as a direct replacement may be a stretch too far considering Aarons has never played at Premier League level before.”

“I think I could replace Trippier at Tottenham! The former Burnley man seems to have run his course at the club – he was the biggest weak link of the north Londoners’ 2018/19 campaign, making two mistakes leading to goals in the Premier League. If Mauricio Pochettino could get his hands on  Aarons, it is scary to think just how good the Norwich youngster could become considering the potential he showed last season. You only have to look at what the Argentine did with Luke Shaw and Adam Lallana at Southampton, the pair earning big-money moves to Manchester United and Liverpool respectively, to see what he can do with young English talent – I think this move would solve a major weak spot for Tottenham for the foreseeable future.”

“He certainly could replace Trippier. Tottenham are in a no-lose situation when it comes to signing a new right-back this summer given how disappointing Trippier and Serge Aurier were in general last season. The former was favoured by Pochettino previously because of his ability to get forward and swing crosses into the box, but he only picked up three assists in 27 Premier League appearances in 2018/19, while the latter has always been a rash defender and only managed 17 outings last season.

“Aarons may have only picked up six  setups in 41 Championship outings for Norwich City last term himself, but he is only 19 years of age and has already proven with the Canaries that he has the potential to get better.

“Interestingly, two of the teenager’s strengths on WhoScored are his dribbling and his ability to play key passes – both of which suggest he would be the ideal attacking full-back in a Pochettino team.”

West Brom’s youth academy is a topic of heated debate at the moment.

Louie Barry could be on his way to PSG, although Luke Dowling remains confident he’ll sign a new deal, whilst Rekeem Harper’s future is also in doubt with the midfielder’s contract expiring at the end of the month.

Birmingham Live suggests that he is closer to agreeing to new terms at Albion but both Juventus and Liverpool have been interested.

Those two youngsters are particularly exciting talents, although like other promising players before them, may well walk through the exit door.

As a result, Slaven Bilic simply has to build on the youth he has at his disposal.

Last term the Baggies reached the FA Youth Cup semi-finals, boasting some of the brightest young talents in the country.

They overcame one of the favourites, Arsenal, on their way to eventually being knocked out by Manchester City one game before the final.

So with that in mind, they have to put a greater focus on the pathway they’re creating for their up and coming stars.

Last term, Darren Moore used six academy players throughout the course of the season, whereas Bilic used 12 in his opening term with West Ham.

However, the players the Croatian utilised actually played less minutes than the six who played for the Baggies in 2018/19.

But there are plenty of players embedded within that impressive side who are deserving of more of a chance under their new manager.

In their opening game of the FA Youth Cup, two of their stand out performers at U18 level were among the goals. Jamie Soule netted twice whilst Morgan Rogers, who has already made his first-team debut also found the net.

That came in a 5-1 win over Lincoln as the Baggies would go onto score 18 times in six matches.

In front of goal, they were cool and clinical as Soule, Rogers and the equally talented Rayhaan Tulloch all showed great strides. The latter was particularly good against City, scoring their second goal.

And it’s players like those that have to be key to West Brom’s rebuild, particularly with an improvement needed in attack next season.

With hints being made about the need to cut back, it would be foolish to go out and spend unnecessary amounts on potential incomings.

Instead, they must look at what’s already at the club and make use of the fabulous youth system they have.

Bilic may be conjuring up a number of plans to improve Albion ahead of their new era, but building upon their success at youth level could just prove key.

It’s now up to him to implement it.

Leeds United fans on Twitter are furious with Andrea Radrizzani after Pontus Jansson was sold to Brentford for an initial £4m fee.

The Swede was one of the most-loved players at Elland Road, and supporters were gutted to see him go.

What infuriated the fans further though is the amount that they would be receiving for their key man.

Brentford have paid an up-front cost of £4m for a player who made it into the PFA Championship Team of the Year last season, and United supporters have pointed the finger at Radrizzani for selling him for so little.

Although Marcelo Bielsa apparently green-lighted this sale, fans were quick to criticise the Italian.

One Twitter user called it a ‘shocking decision’ while another stated that their former owners would have done a better job in reference to Ken Bates and Massimo Cellino.

Jansson will certainly be missed by United fans, but at the moment the main emotion they’re feeling is anger and it is being directed towards their chairman.

وشدد المصدر على أن من المنتظر أن يتم الكشف عن شكل وإطار التعاون بين الإسماعيلي وبيراميدز، قريبًا وبشكل رسمي.

جدير بالذكر أن الإسماعيلي يحتل المركز الخامس عشر في جدول ترتيب الدوري المصري برصيد 7 نقاط.
